I haven't exercised in several days and I can feel myself slipping back into fatland. I've been sick with a bad cold which drained all of my energy and I haven't exercised in about a week and food slowly slipping. Damn. I'm just going to have to force it whether I feel like it or not. Funny how it doesn't take long to start feeling like shit again. I did weigh this morning so I have an end of the month report and I'm up a little but I'm down 5.6 for the month of January. I was hoping for more but I'll take it.
I've scheduled myself for a mani/pedi on Saturday, hoping that it will make me feel better to shove my ass back into gear. A haircut is in my future, too. After work I'm headed to the grocery store to stock back up on healthy foods.

Come on, girl! Do you WANT to feel like shit? Of course you don't! Get angry, and get your mojo back! You do NOT want to be overweight. You KNOW you don't! I know you've been sick, but you are on the road to recovery now, and even if you don't have enough energy quite yet to exercise, it takes no energy to eat in a healthy and responsible way. Consider this my tough-love smack upside your head. ;) Congrats on the 5.6 lbs! headed in the right direction, but I know you, and I KNOW you can do better! :D <3

ReplyDeleteNothing like getting sick and feeling crummy to pull you into a funk and out of your eating and exercise routines. I was actually glad to get back to work and back into at least some of my routine (eating and tracking). Still not back in the exercise routine yet. Let's do it!!!

ReplyDelete5.6 is great ... I'd take it in a heartbeat. I had that cold (and the got the flu) in December and I was useless for at least two weeks.
