30 Day Squat Challenge

My DD is doing at 30 day squat challenge with people from her work so I've decided to give it a try, too.  I don't know if I'll be able to hang or not, but I'm sure going to give it a try.  Last night I walked 2 miles and then did the 50 squats.  I'm a little sore today.  I know that a couple of days into it my muscles are going to be screaming but I'm going to try to hang tough.  I looked at some results of the people that have completed it and you can definitely tell a difference.

I've been trying to think of different ways to prepare vegetables so I don't get bored and I came up with a delicious way to prepare broccoli, I will definitely make it again.  Here's the jist of it:  Par boil the broccoli then finish it off by sauteeing it for a few minutes in a little sesame oil, LS soy sauce, and a tiny bit of honey.  Top with toasted sesame seeds.  You just want enough sauce to lightly coat the broccoli.  This is yummy!

Todays weight was exactly the same.  I hope to hit 245 by Monday.

NSV - I was offered homemade doughnuts TWICE at work yesterday and politely declined both times.  I wasn't really even tempted.  Yay me!

  3. I was up to about 100 squats a day at one point, but I can't even picture doing 250 ... wow. They are supposed to be great for the gluts.
