Not much to report today. I had a .4 gain this morning...who knows why...I'm not going to sweat it, it will be off soon enough.
NSV: I stopped at the grocery store before work this morning to get tissues for my office (allergies) and I found myself in the candy aisle looking for a bag of hard candy for work. What in the hell was I doing? Didn't I just give up sugar? I quicky turned away and headed for the check out. It wasn't that hard to say no but it took me a minute to remember my new way of eating.
Last night my exercise was only 75 squats (according to my squat challenge chart). I haven't had a day off from exercise for a week and I wanted to catch up on the most recent episode of Mad Men before The Voice came on. I felt guilty for only doing the squats but reminded myself that my body needs a day off to rest/recover. Tonight will be the squats and an exercise dvd. I wanna see the scale go down tomorrow, don't I?
After work I'm going to hit a really nice grocery store across town to get some organic half and half and I want to try the Annie's organic salad dressing that Gwen was talking about.
Make it great day!
Be prepared for it to rock your boat, and 3 tablespoons is PLENTY on a big salad! A little goes a pretty long way! I still have been meaning to try it on chicken as a sauce/glaze. :)
ReplyDeleteGood job on the NSV! :D
Annie's is awesome. Try the Buttermilk and the Shiitake is fabulous, too; I like the shiitake with avocados and beets with a bit of sesame seed on top. They sell Annie's at Target and I can usually find it for under $3 a bottle. Also, if you have a Target nearby, they have the All-Whites on sale at a great price.
ReplyDeleteHave fun at the new grocery; I love grocery stores.
I looked at Annie's but the dressings I thought I'd like had up to 5 grams of carbs ...
ReplyDeleteSquats are a great exercise.
Congratulations on getting safely away from the candy aisle. I always try to avoid it ... no sense making my life harder than it is. :)
